Pelik sikit cara Mnet tayang episod hujung survival show Mix & Match ni sebab episod 8 tunjuk final match tapi dekat episod 9 dia patah balik ke rehearsal, fans reaction dan beberapa footage dekat backstage dengan undian para juri. Dalam episod ni je fans boleh nampak family Chanwoo sebab dia tersangatlah private orangnya. Ayah dia pun memang nampak betul muka korporat tu. 


Permulaan episod ni tunjuk farewell party, idea dari Jay untuk buat dekat rooftop YG Entertainment. Dia setup party tu simple je sesuai lah dengan bajet trainee haha. Beberapa hari sebelum tu dia buat manito game bila diorang kena pilih nama untuk sesi bertukar hadiah dekat party tu nanti. 

Paling best tengok hadiah B.I kepada Yunhyeong sebab dia beli satu kotak lipbalm Nivea sebab dia terdengar Yunhyeong nak lipbalm tu. Yunhyeong memang obsess dengan lipbalm Nivea sampaikan Nivea ambil iKON jadi duta lepas diorang debut. Nak masak ke, main game, training mesti dia tenyeh lipbalm dulu. Kalau sekarang mungkin dia akan happy bila dapat hadiah yang berkaitan dengan kulinari sejak ada Youtube acc Songchelin Guide.

Masa final match tu sama tarikh dengan birthday B.I yang ke-20 tapi disebabkan final match so iKON tak dapat nak prepare party gempak sebab semua busy. Masa survival show WIN (2013) JuNe cakap  nak celebrate grand tapi tak sangka pulak ada survival show lagi. Sebab busy dengan rehearsal, B.I tak sangka langsung iKON member buat prank untuk birthday dia. WINNER pun ada untuk celebrate sekali sebab diorang perform dua lagu sama-sama dekat final match. 


Undian dari 26 orang juri di bawah YG Entertainment dibuat lepas live performance dan rata-ratanya pilih JuNe, Yunhyeong dengan DK sebab improve banyak dari WIN dan menyerlah dari 3 orang trainee baru. Tak tahu siapa yang YG pilih sebab dia tak reveal pun undian dia macam juri-juri lain. Dia cuma cakap yang dia pilih untuk akan banyak bantu B.I in future. 

Lepas final match tu 6 orang trainee yang duduk dekat hostel kena balik rumah dulu sebelum dipanggil masuk balik sebagai official member iKON untuk debut. Malam last tu diorang semua tidur sama-sama dekat ruang tamu sebab B.I nak createlast moment together. Comel tengok Bobby tidur dengan Pooh dia sambil peluk Jay. Twin Monster tidur sama-sama satu katil, comel je tengok sebab sebijik macam kembar. 


Jay, Bobby dengan B.I sedih tengok semua balik sebab tinggal diorang bertiga je dekat rumah tu. Terasa betul kosong bila 6 orang keluar. Banyak kali Jay peluk semua 6 orang tu sebelum diorang balik sebab tu last time diorang jumpa. DK yang sebilik dengan dia pun dia susah nak lepas sebab takut nanti tak dapat debut sama-sama. Susah nak jangka siapa yang akan dapat masuk dalam iKON sebab masing-masing ada kekuatan dan ada peminatnya tersendiri. 


Sebelum last day tu  actually banyak lagi aktiviti diorang sama-sama tapi YG Entertainment simpan dalam unreleased video untuk yang beli CD survival show ni je. Boleh nampak lah diorang semua banyak kenangan sama-sama sampaikan Hongseok nangis masa nak balik tu. Dalam masa 6 bulan banyak ilmu yang dia belajar dekat sana. 

Dekat hujung episod ni Mnet reveal semua ahli lengkap iKON and surprisingly undian DK agak rendah berbanding Chanwoo. Nevertheless I’m happy semua ahli Team B dapat debut. As for Hongseok, dia dah debut dalam Pentagon under company CUBE Entertainment (B2ST, BtoB, Rain, Hyuna, 4Minute, G.Na, CLC, (G)I-dle etc). Jinhyeong pula bergerak solo sebagai artis indie. 



Walaupun survival show Mix & Match ni habis pada Oktober 2014 tapi iKON debut Disember 2015, setahun lepas YG janji nak debut 7 orang trainee. Tak tahu lah kenapa peram lama sampai fans naik geram. Keluar je album Welcome Back terus dapat ranking no. 1 dekat Gaon Album Chart lepas 117 ribu unit terjual. Congrats iKON!

Final match yang ditentukan oleh 30% undian para juri serta 70% undian peminat atau penonton survival show Mix & Match diadakan. Hos pada final match ialah Yoo In-Na dan Daesung Big Bang. Tetamu jemputan pada malam tersebut ialah YG, Big Bang, Epik High, 2NE1 dan senior artist di bawah YG Entertainment. 


Persembahan pertama dari Yunhyeong, Jinhyeong dan Chanwoo dengan lagu Let’s Twist Again – Chubby Checker. Kali ni tak ada guidance dari mana-mana fixed members, sepenuhnya idea, konsep, choreography dari trainee sendiri. Yunhyeong ajak Chanwoo dengan Jinhyeong menari dekat tempat public untuk dapat feel dan hilangkan rasa nervous tu. Ramai yang berkumpul tengok diorang sebab dah ada yang kenal. Sesuai dengan persembahan pembukaan, lagu yang fun dengan tarian yang senang untuk audience follow. 

Kemudiannya persembahan kedua dengan konsep balada untuk lagu Eyes, Nose, Lips – Taeyang Big Bang. Rasanya diorang pilih lagu ni sebab forte Hongseok pada vokal so tak susah lah diorang bertiga nak buat harmoni. Sama juga dengan team lagi satu, diorang buat busking dekat tempat awam. 


Masa performance DK main piano sebab dia dari kecil dah masuk kelas piano. Suara dia dah la lunak merdu bila menyanyi dengan iringan piano tu fuhhh menusuk. Happy Taeyang tengok performance diorang bertiga. Taeyang puji suara DK sebab sesuai sangat dengan lagu tu. Suara JuNe pun sarat dengan emosi yang mendalam. 

Persembahan ketiga dari fixed member iKON dan WINNER dengan lagu Empty. Lagu debut WINNER ni sebenarnya hadiah dari B.I untuk Team A lepas diorang menang dalam survival show WIN (2013). Fun fact, lagu debut Blackpink – Whistle pun B.I yang composed. Semua lagu dia composed hit dekat Melon sebab tu lah YG pernah cakap B.I ni adalah pelapis G.Dragon. Tapi sebab Dispatch buat hal, hilang permata YG Entertainment. 


Comel bila WINNER Dengan iKON nyanyi lagu Just Another Boy sama-sama atas stage sebab teringat zaman WIN diorang training sama-sama, lepak makan sama-sama tapi disebabkan YG nak debut satu group je, terpaksa lah diorang compete dengan each other. Sampai sekarang pun still lagi berkawan rapat. Mino tolong iKON dalam survival show KINGdom : Legendary War dengan lagu At Ease. 

Pusingan kedua ada penglibatan fixed members – B.I, Bobby dengan Jay gubah lagu Long Time No See untuk perform dengan Yunhyeong, Chanwoo dan Jinhyeong. Lagu tu B.I dengan Bobby buat khas kepada fans diorang yang selalu support dan setia tunggu sampai diorang akan officially debut sebagai idol group dalam industry. 


Lagu Long Time No See ni digubah bersama Taeyang juga sebab tu lagu ni sweet lebih kurang macam style dia. Part rap tu macam kesinambungan dari lagu Climax yang B.I perform dekat final stage WIN sebab dia bagitahu kenapa diorang lambat tunaikan janji untuk debut. Happy betul setiap kali dengar lagu ni setiap kali rindu dengan iKON. 

Untuk team kedua – JuNe, DK dengan Hongseok pula B.I gubah lagu Sinosijak yang lebih rancak dan fir genre hip-hop. Lagu tu lagu simbolik kepada iKON sebab anthem sebelum diorang start perform on stage. Sinosijak tak ada makna pun cuma Si tu maksudnya mula dan B.I ambil konsep gorilla sebagai highlight choreo lagu tu. 


Perjalanan 6 bulan dalam survival show Mix & Match diakhiri dengan persembahan terakhir dengan lagu Niliria (G-Dragon) + All Of Me (John Legend) + Siri Says untuk tonjolkan dance skills sebagai satu kumpulan. DK ada solo part sebab dia adalah main dancer iKON tapi tak lama pun lah sebab JuNe potong line haha. Comel betul diorang gubah lagu Siri Says tu sebab ringtone biasa boleh jadi music best dan impressive.  


Walaupun episod ni lebih panjang dari episod yang lain tapi keputusan tak diumumkan pada malam tu sebab undian secara online masih berjalan selama satu minggu. Nanti YG Entertainment akan campur dengan undian dari 3 negara dalam Episod 7 tu.
