In conjunction with Ramadhan and the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations, ShopeeFood together with Pizza Hut organised several berbuka puasa sessions across Klang Valley and Selangor for its fleet of food delivery partners. The #ShopeeDeliversLove campaign is in its second year and aims to show appreciation to ShopeeFood delivery partners.

Hundreds of delivery partners attended the sessions across many locations such as Wangsa Maju, Kota Damansara, Kepong and Kajang. Besides feasting on various yummy pizzas and beverages provided by Pizza Hut, the delivery partners also received many other goodies like Hari Raya cookies and petrol vouchers.

According to Kwa Yin Leng, Head of Operations for ShopeeFood Malaysia: “We are excited to be able to host this event on an annual basis for our delivery partners. ShopeeFood recognises the important role driver partners play in our business. As such, we continue to engage them closely, to better understand their needs. We take our driver partners’ feedback seriously, implement support initiatives and policies that meet their needs and continuously improve their welfare.”

“ShopeeFood is committed to delivering the highest quality of service for our customers by providing our users with value, variety and convenience through an integrated ecosystem. We hope by providing good food to our delivery partners, they will have more flexibility to observe their religious duties while delivering customer orders during this busy period,” she added.

Besides receiving food, delivery partners were also given a chance to win attractive lucky prizes that included smartphones, helmets and other riding apparel like raincoats.

Delivery partners interviewed during the event also expressed their appreciation for the gesture from ShopeeFood. En. Faizal bin Hashom who has been working with ShopeeFood for more than one and a half years said: “It is such a great event, and I hope ShopeeFood can organise a bigger one in the future so more drivers can attend it together. The timing to have the event during the month of Ramadan and Hari Raya is good as well.”

Another delivery partner, En. Abdul Qayum Bin Baharum said: “This event is really good for drivers to get together to not only meet new friends that are working in the same area but also a great opportunity to meet the ShopeeFood management team. Generasi Baharu Rakyat Malaysia Beli Berasaskan Nilai Dalam Talian

Generasi baharu rakyat Malaysia membeli-belah dengan tujuan dalam talian — Data pasaran Shopee menunjukkan pengguna dalam talian berkemungkinan tiga kali ganda membeli produk yang menggalakkan penggunaan lebih bijak pada 2023 berbanding pada 2020. Rakyat Malaysia semakin mencari kata kunci seperti ‘pre-loved’, ‘pre-owned’, ‘warehouse clearance’, ‘demo unit’ dan ‘thrift’ atas ‘new’.

Sepanjang tiga tahun yang lalu, pasaran Shopee menyaksikan pengguna mempraktikkan beli-belah berasaskan nilai dengan jumlah 1.4 juta item yang dijual iaitu demo unit, warehouse clearance item dengan minor defects, barang 'bundle', dan juga produk pre-owned. 50% daripada ini adalah kategori Baby and Toys, Groceries and Pets, and Health and Beauty, 27% fesyen pre-owned, 17% barangan gaya hidup (Home and Living, Outdoor Sports, Hobbies, Games and Books) dan selebihnya menggunakan Electronics.

Kenneth Soh, Ketua Pemasaran di Shopee Malaysia berkata, “Membeli-belah berasaskan nilai jelas adalah masa depan. Pembeli-belah Generasi Z di e-dagang memberitahu kami melalui carian kata kunci mereka bahawa untuk setiap 6 kali mereka mencari sesuatu yang baharu, 4 kali lain, mereka sedang mencari sesuatu yang pre-loved, dikitar semula, digunakan semula atau unit paparan. Mereka menggunakan kuasa beli dengan cara yang sangat berhati-hati, dan amat menggembirakan untuk dapat memenuhi keperluan kumpulan pengguna ini dengan menghubungkan mereka kepada penjual yang sejajar dengan nilai."

“Shopee memudahkan penjual Malaysia yang mempunyai stok untuk menyenaraikan barang pre-loved mereka dan menunjukkan kepada pengguna keadaan mereka secara sahih supaya orang ramai boleh membuat keputusan membeli-belah yang lebih bijak. Pada Februari 2023, kami melihat anggaran peningkatan sebanyak 15% dalam penyenaraian SKU pre-loved berbanding bulan yang sama tahun lepas. Kami percaya bahawa kami memudahkan pengguna kami untuk membeli-belah dengan lebih nilai dalam talian,” akhiri Soh.

Warehouse clearance supplies yang paling popular ialah sanitiser tangan kerana rakyat Malaysia meningkatkan keperluan mereka untuk perlindungan kebersihan diri. Memandangkan isi rumah telah menjimatkan perbelanjaan, terlalu banyak stok tetapi produk penjagaan kulit, kosmetik dan penjagaan diri yang mampu milik adalah permintaan yang hangat. Tidak mengejutkan, pembeli juga memilih ‘pre-owned’ berbanding  ‘new’  dengan aksesori bayi dan kanak-kanak, mainan bayi dan kanak-kanak serta aksesori haiwan kesayangan yang semakin tua dengan usia.

Kandungan influencer di Shopee Live juga telah beralih untuk memenuhi keputusan membeli-belah berasaskan nilai dan bertujuan. Sepanjang tiga tahun yang lalu, penjual strim langsung merekodkan empat kali lebih banyak pesanan terjual dan dua kali lebih banyak kandungan penstriman langsung untuk produk pre-owned berbanding produk baharu. ShopeeFood Memberi Ganjaran Kepada Rakan Penghantaran Wanita Untuk Hari Wanita Sedunia | Sambutan ini adalah sebagai tanda penghargaan kepada sumbagan rakan penghantaran wanita dalam industri penghantaran makanan #shopeedeliverslove

Bersempena Hari Wanita Sedunia pada bulan Mac, ShopeeFood telah menganjurkan program istimewa bagi memberi penghargaan kepada rakan penghantaran wanita ShopeeFood di Lembah Klang. Acara ini dilancarkan dengan kerjasama beberapa jenama terkemuka seperti NIVEA, Marrybrown, Chatime Malaysia dan L'Oréal Malaysia. Hampir 60 rakan penghantaran wanita, bersama rakan-rakan mereka, telah mengambil bahagian untuk menyambut peristiwa istimewa ini.

Tambahan lagi, ShopeeFood juga telah menganjurkan program pembangunan kendiri, yang dihoskan oleh pakar sains sosial dan kemanusiaan, Profesor Dr Hadija Mohd, yang merupakan pengasas rangka kerja Personal Initiative Intelligence (PI-Q).

Rangka kerja PI-Q bertujuan membina kemahiran insaniah yang sangat penting dalam membantu rakan penghantaran untuk meningkatkan prestasi kerja mereka. Justeru, pendekatan unik ini dapat memberi fokus kepada pembangunan kualiti dalaman individu seperti daya tahan, kesedaran diri dan juga empati.

Pada akhir program ini, rakan-rakan penghantaran ShopeeFood telah diberikan satu penilaian berdasarkan program PI-Q. Tiga rakan penghantaran yang mempunyai skor tertinggi telah dipilih untuk diberikan biasiswa pembelajaran di universiti yang terkenal untuk melanjutkan pembelajaran mereka. ShopeeFood telah memilih City Continued Education Centre sebagai penaja biasiswa pembelajaran ini, yang bernilai lebih daripada RM60,000.

Pada pendapat Kwa Yin Leng, Ketua Operasi ShopeeFood Malaysia, sambutan ini merupakan satu peristiwa penting untuk mengenali sumbangan para wanita di dalam industri penghantaran makanan.

“ShopeeFood ingin memberikan rakan penghantaran wanita kami persekitaran yang penuh sokongan supaya mereka berasa selamat dan dihargai. Kami sangat gembira untuk bekerja dengan pelbagai jenama terkenal untuk mempamerkan penghargaan kami terhadap rakan penghantaran wanita dengan cara yang lebih bermakna. Program pembelajaran ini akan membawa banyak manfaat dan juga akan memberi impak yang positif kepada kehidupan mereka.” kata beliau.

Selain daripada program pembelajaran kendiri, rakan penghantaran juga telah menyertai bengkel penjagaan kulit dan kebersihan diri yang ditaja oleh NIVEA. Dalam bengkel ini, pakar-pakar daripada NIVEA telah membuat demonstrasi tentang penjagaan kulit dan kebersihan diri yang bermanfaat kepada rakan penghantaran yang sering sekali terdedah kepada pelbagai jenis cuaca semasa melakukan pekerjaan. Pada akhir sesi ini, rakan penghantaran diberikan produk-produk NIVEA untuk menolong mereka dengan memulakan cara penjagaan kulit dan kebersihan diri yang baru.

Sebagai acara utama sambutan ini, ShopeeFood telah menganjurkan satu panel perbincangan yang juga telah disiarkan secara langsung dalam aplikasi Shopee dan juga media sosial ShopeeFood. Perbincangan menarik ini membawa tiga wajah terkenal di Malaysia untuk kongsi pengalaman mereka dalam melalui cabaran hidup dan perjalanan mereka menuju ke kejayaan. 

Para panelis adalah:

  • Datuk Shalin Zulkifli, merupakan seorang pemain boling profesional dan bekas atlet negara yang telah mewakili Malaysia selama 28 tahun dalam pelbagai persaingan antarabangsa. Pada masa kini, beliau telah pun memegang 5 gelaran kejohanan sedunia. Beliau juga merupakan penyokong vokal untuk hak kesaksamaan jantina.
  • Nandini Balakrishnan, merupakan seorang pengaruh media sosial dan producer video yang bekerja dengan syarikat media terkenal di Malaysia. Dia telah menulis secara meluas tentang diskriminasi dan kerja beliau telah ditampilkan di pelbagai penerbitan antarabangsa. Pada tahun 2021, Nandini telah diberi anugerah Women of The Future Awards Southeast Asia dalam kategori seni dan budaya.
  • Natasha Helwa Binti Ramlee, merupakan seorang usahawan wanita dan peniaga ShopeeFood. Beliau merupakan anak sulung kepada tiga beradik yang mengasaskan restoran Tiga Budak Gemok. Mereka bermula daripada kecil dengan mendirikan gerai di bawah pokok dan kini restoran Tiga Budak Gemok telah pun berkembang pesat dan boleh dijumpai di lebih daripada enam negeri di Malaysia.
